Annapurna Views- Royal/Skyline Trek
You can follow in the foot steps of Royalty on the Skyline/Royal Trek that was walked by the Prince of Wales himself. This pleasant trek starts outside of Pokhara at Bengas lake. The trek generally takes 4 to 5 days. It is however a lovely walk and not strenuous(no higher than 1700m), children can easily go on this trek. You will enjoy some lovely vistas of the Annapurna range. The trek finishes 5 km away from the main town of Pokhara where transport is ready to transfer you to your hotel. (You can also prolong the trek and connect to the original Around Annapurna Trail and proceed to Besisahar from Sakkara Bhanjyang). You will need a daypack or a backpack, depending on whether you have porters to your assistance or not, and clothes and gear suited for the season. You will need a sleeping bag, there are no proper hotels along the route. This isn't a lodge-trekking route, so there will be local foods and snacks only. But there are many tea stalls that also carry fast-food noodles, biscuits, sweets etc. But bring anything else you may need. You can do this trek in jogging shoes/ lightweight trekking shoes.
